Livermore’s Kidz Town Halloween Hay Day
Ghosts, angels and Minions, oh my!
It’s that time of year again where we buy thrilling costumes (or make last minute ones) and buy enough candy to last us the entire year! Halloween is just around the corner! Which means so is Livermore’s Kidz Town Halloween Hay Day!
On October 29th, 2016, children and families are welcomed to participate in fun-filled activities such as a costume contest, pumpkin carving contest, and trick-or-treating! Maybe your guest Cinderella doesn’t want to carve pumpkins? Then I think the pony and carnival rides offered on this day would be an amazing substitute!
Growing up, my parents were always cautious about this time of year which would often times mean an adult present us and limited time to get candy. However, I think it’s rad to see an event like this that offers so much! What better way to get with friends and your community to celebrate this season!
If your child is afraid of being the fourteenth Spider Man or Elsa, definitely encourage them to think outside of the box. I remember one Halloween, I attempted to be Nancy Drew and while my Asian features masked all “Nancy Drew” hints, it was fun to be different! Whether they portray their creativity through their costume or choice of face painting, they’re bound to have a good time.
This Hay Day will take place in Downtown Livermore which has lots of cute areas to have a quick photo shoot while all dressed up! Maybe even find a new favorite restaurant? Downtown Livermore couldn’t be better place to celebrate this Halloween weekend surrounded by family and friends!
This family favorite tradition will start at 11 am and end at 4 pm, so find your best costumes and get ready for an early Halloween! For more details about this Hay Day visit their site or their Facebook page!
