With a few weeks under their belt, Hop DeVine is ready for their grand opening.
Enjoy live music? How about a glass of wine, or a cold brew? If you are free on Saturday, July 9th, bring the family down for the Grand Opening! Live music starts at 2 and ends at 10.
The first band, BoSco Duo starts at 2. I have not heard of these guys but according to their band page, Bob and Scott (band name makes sense now doesn’t it?!) have an acoustic Rock and Blues feel, from the 60s to today. They are a local band and have played in many of our favorite spots like BlackSmith Square, Charles R Winery, Steven Kent Winery, and their list goes on. I, personally have never seen them play, but if Hop DeVine has them, you KNOW they will rock it!
Crawdad Republic, another local band, starts at 5. Their vibe is Bluegrass/Folk, which you wouldn’t expect from a group who’s average age is 34! They get the crowd moving with their unique sound that is perfect for any tasting room. They are releasing their new album soon, so you bet they will be playing new material. They have been hitting the scene hard, they were just playing in downtown Pleasanton, they were just at Wente over our 4th of July weekend, and they are playing downtown at Bankhead Theater next week!
The closing band, Jungle Rooster starts at 8. They have an 80′ and 90’s Rock and Roll feel to them. They have played places such as R Place and Pine Street Bar. From the research I have done, they put on a high intensity show! Perfect to end your Saturday night.
Since my past post on Hop DeVine, I have been in at least 4 times. The chef has created new menu items that are perfect size for any appetite. My new favorite item on the menu is the Watermelon Arugula Salad. It’s not your typical arugula salad. He has it as an appetizer and with the perfect hint of mint, and the strawberry vinaigrette drizzle on top is mouth watering!
Along with new beers on tap, they added a Sparking Rosé, Mimosa and Sangria, all which are thirst quenching!
So, tell your family you’ll be at Hop DeVine celebrating their Grand Opening on Saturday! You know you’ll find me there with my Chardonnay in hand (maybe a beer) but not until after nap time!
