The hills are alive! With the sound of music! At The Front Porch Music Festival 2016!
It’s about that time of year again! Where people gather to enjoy a day filled with music and beautiful scenery provided by Livermore’s infamous Wente Vineyard! Karl Wente, (a fifth generation winemaker!), hosts individual artists and popular groups to create an amazing evening filled with music, delicious food, and gorgeous opportunities for selfies!
Musicians and groups that you will see include headliners Hot Buttered Rum, David Luning, Kingsborough and much more! You can also catch these acts around within the Bay Area, even San Francisco if you’re headed out that way!
Spend your Saturday at Wente Vineyards in Livermore with family and friends listening to music and seriously…the gorgeous views are perfect opportunities for Instagram shots or Facebook selfies! Be sure to bring your selfie stick! The beautiful hills and sunset alone would get you a lot of retweets and likes! Should you not want to be outside, acoustic performances will be available in Wente’s classic barrel rooms!
The Front Porch Music Festival is nearly exactly how it sounds! Guests can relax in blankets and chairs to enjoy tasteful music. Karl Wente started this festival tradition long ago when he would invite bands and musicians to rock out with his own band in his backyard! It is truly amazing to me to see how it has grown to allow people across the valley and area to come together to appreciate good food, music, and wine! With busy work schedules and commitments, finding family time can be tough! But what better way is there to spend quality time with friends and family, even your community, than with music!
Be sure to come Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 at 11:00 a.m to catch a good seat! You can easily purchase your ticket at Eventbrite.com where an advanced bought ticket is only $35 and children ages 12 and younger is only $10! If your wifi is down, don’t worry! You can simply buy a ticket at the door for $45. This music filled day ends at 9 p.m so you’ll have plenty of time to explore the vineyards and catch every musician in their glory!
