It’s that time of year again
Everyone knows this time of year is famous for its resolutions made by the many. Among one of the most common and well known? Weight loss. But there is so much more to gain from a regular exercise routine than just shedding pounds! Focusing on the other benefits, can be one way you fight the urge to quit when winter chills make you second guess your plan for the day. If dancing sounds like a fun way to get in shape, consider trying V-Fit fitness; they specialize in all kinds of dance. Pilates can be found downtown at Mindful Movements, and on that same street, you’ll find Dragonfly Yoga + Wellness. CrossFit looks like it is here to stay, and for good reason! Two great places to try are CrossFit 580 (East side of town), as well as CrossFit Livermore (West). Work with Erica, at Tuff Girl Fitness, if you are looking for a more intimate workout environment that is especially comfortable for women. Located in the Safeway shopping center (1st St & Las Positas Rd.), they opened up just recently and already have immensely satisfied clients. Fit Body Boot Camp has a really cool promotion starting up called the “Pound for Pound” challenge. For 6 weeks, every pound lost by members will be matched by them in pounds of food donated to local homeless shelters!
